Terms of Service

Provider. bee-keeper is operated by Aleksandar Kovačević, a sole trader based in Serbia. Contact: support@bee-keeper.org. Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record on your statement and issues invoices.

By using the bee-keeper app you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

bee-keeper is a beekeeping logbook tool and is provided "as is", without warranties. All decisions about your bees, treatments and hive work are yours and at your own responsibility — the app is not veterinary or professional advice.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage, or loss of data, yield or profit arising from use of the app.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping access to your account. Export your data from time to time (the Export button) as a backup.

On the Market you may advertise beekeeping-related items only. Fraud, illegal goods and content that is not yours are prohibited. You are fully responsible for your listings and for any dealings with other users; we are not a party to the sale and do not vouch for listings.

Premium is a recurring subscription billed through Creem (creem.io), our Merchant of Record, who processes the payment, charges any applicable taxes and issues invoices, and renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; your Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and applicable law. We may update the app and these terms, and continued use means you accept the changes.

Community and messages: be respectful and stay on topic. No spam, pornographic or sexually explicit content, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content. We use automated checks and user reports, and may hide content or restrict or ban accounts that break these rules. You can report any post, comment, or user from within the app, or email support@bee-keeper.org.

Content you share. You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post to the Community, the Market or your public profile. By posting it, you grant bee-keeper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, publish and display that content, including to operate, improve, market and promote bee-keeper — for example on our website, in app stores, in printed materials and on social media — without credit or payment to you. You can delete your content or account at any time and this licence then ends, except for content we have already used or shared publicly, where it continues. You confirm you own or have all rights needed to grant this licence and that the content does not infringe anyone's rights or privacy.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use bee-keeper. You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload it. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the content you post or list, and you agree to indemnify and hold bee-keeper harmless from any claim arising out of your content, your listings, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these terms.

The app — including the Brain advice, weather and forage/varroa forecasts — is provided for general guidance only, may be inaccurate or unavailable, and is not veterinary, agricultural, legal or financial advice. You remain solely responsible for your beekeeping decisions and for complying with the laws of your country (including treatment, animal-health and sales rules). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts of Serbia have jurisdiction — this does not remove any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms stay in effect. We provide these terms in several languages for convenience; if a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails. Questions: support@bee-keeper.org.
